Settembre sul mercato in massa per il periodo del back-to-school. Presentazione sicuramente prima, considerando che per Ivy mancano soli pochi giorni per vedere qualcosa di ufficiale.

Parlo di ultrabook. Prima verranno lanciate le CPU professionali, poi quelle di fascia alta e poi quelle di fascia medio-bassa. Questo secondo le ultime informazioni.

No no, proprio professionali inteso come Xeon (non i successori di SB-E). Quindi soluzioni destinate a fascia bassa per server e workstation che possono volere al massimo quattro core fisici.

:D questo almeno fino a un paio di giorni fa.

Ivy Bridge è uno step "di produzione", il prossimo dovrebbe essere uno step "architetturale" con le stesse tecnologie produttive di Ivy bridge (22nm ?) giusto ?

Rettifico una cosa che ho verificato.

A breve si parlerà di Xeon ma non basati su Ivy, mentre per Ivy bisognerà attendere (prima si parlava di alcune conferenze per la seconda metà di Marzo).

Beh fai conto che anche in passato erano usciti gli Xeon low-performance con socket di fascia media (al tempo di LGA1156 e LGA1366). Comunque ci sono altre novità per Ivy ma attualmente nessuna data confermata. :D aggiornerò appena verrà detto qualcosa...
