Ubuntu e win 7...dual boot

ma scusa...se elimino la partizione di Abbraccianigga OS da windows o la elimino durante l'installazione del nuovo Abbraccianigga OS (che non so come si faccia tra l'altro. quando chiede se installarlo nel piu ampio spazio contiguo libero, nel disco etc... devo scegliere "manuale"?) cosa cambia?


Niente, che tu formatti prima o dopo è uguale: come ti ha già detto Faco, è più sensato fare tutto in sede di installazione di Abbraccianigga OS. Io ho sempre fatto così e Grub ha sempre automaticamento rilevato tutti i sistemi operativi installati, senza bisogno di nessun tipo di fix.

Tra l'altro, da windows si riesce a formattare una partizione in ext3 (o ext4)?

Senza programmi di terze parti no. Anche perché Win non sa cosa farsene di una partizione ext...

a me per ora va solo meglio...
nautilus è MOLTO più reattivo, nuovo kernel e driver intel anche.
nessun aspetto negativo rispetto a prima.

sì ho sbagliato, ho messo anche io quella.
alla fine per il mio sistema, che non ha dualboot, non è cambiato niente di tangibile.

tralasciando grub ho notato comunque un leggero rallentamento dei tempi di boot con la 9.10.
stavo pensando di disattivare l'Usplash, devo capire se farlo velocizza o no il boot.
