Senza fast boot funziona tutto regolarmente?

Direi proprio di sì.

 

La cosa strana è che le periferiche di input smettono di funzionare (sempre in fase del bios eh) quando si fa il boot da un dispositivo diverso.

Ad es. prima con win installato andava tutto regolarmente, e potevo tranquillamente entrare con F2.

Poi ho bootato una cosa da cd, e da lì in avanti non ha più funzionato.

 

(ho riusato il trucchetto di inizializzare il ricevitore usb su un altro pc, poi spostato su questo, ed ho risolto)

I bios della gigabyte sono orrendi, also inculati ti avevo pure avvertito.

Beh, il fast boot di per sé abbrevia latenze di rilevazione e salta qualche controllo, quindi è possibile che dia problemi. Poi se in più ci si mette qualche bug del bios/UEFI, il casino è fatto.

Considerando che tanto i miei non entreranno mai nel bios, ne tantomeno premeranno f12... mi consigli di lasciarlo attivato?

Certo, resta da vedere quanti secondi effettivi si guadagnino.

Certo, resta da vedere quanti secondi effettivi si guadagnino.

 

Come ti ho detto decine di volte, lascialo a default (quindi dovrebbe essere disattivato). Ammettendo anche che vai a guadagnare 10 secondi (ma non è così), è irrilevante nell'utilizzo del PC.

 

 

:o poi non mi dire che non sei come Kharonte! :P

Però è strano in quanto stando a ciò che è scritto lì, se settato su "ultra fast", la voce relativa all'usb dovrebbe essere non disponibile. Cosa che con me è... (forse si riferisce alle prime versioni del bios?)

 

Ho trovato qualcosa di simile anche sulle mobo intel:

 

 

If you enable USB Optimization, all USB devices will be unavailable until after the operating system boots but the system will boot faster.

USB Optimization cannot be enabled if a User Password or Hard Drive Password is installed.

Enabling this feature will prevent using a USB keyboard to enter BIOS setup. This feature can be temporary disabled by unplugging the computer. The USB optimization feature will be disabled for the first boot after restoring power to the system.

Ho assemblato un postazione da montaggio video foto e altro sarcastico con fx8350 e gtx760. Ho anche 3 hd e qualche ventola.. Ho provato a misurare il consumo del solo PC (niente monitor o altre periferiche esterne).. Suca 600w con gpu e cpu in full :cereal:

No Fc W Gesù.. Il fatto è che la scheda video assorbe oltre 200w, dovrebbe sucarsene la metà :chan:
