Lurk moar la guarnigione sarà integrata nel leveling e nell'end game al massimo ne mettono una versione(skin) più bella a pagamento chi vuole se la prende gli altri tengono la base.

 

Non hanno mai introdotto nulla di sgravo a pagamento a meno di non considerare sgravo il minipet di ragnaros che mi dicono essere sgravo nelle battlepet

Maybe it's gold, maybe it's some kind of epic quest, maybe something more straightforward. I'm digging that there seems to be a pretty reasonable mix of beta experiences here though. Definitely looking forward to feedback when we get to the max-level content too.

ah comunque guardando qualche video l'item squish è triste  ero arrivato finalmente a 1M di vita cosa che sognavo di fare da lich king quando arrivavo a stento a 50k

I cambiamenti al leveling in Warlords of Draenor

L'esperienza di leveling ha ricevuto dei decisi e amorevoli cambiamenti in Warlords of Draenor, con l'obbiettivo primario di coinvolgere al massimo il giocatore. Molte di queste innovazioni sono derivazioni quasi dirette dagli Scenari e dall'Isola Senza Tempo di Mists of Pandaria. Partiamo dalle missioni.

Ora tutte le missioni sono divise nel Registro Missioni per importanza, ovvero se appartengono ad un arco narrativo principale oppure no. Non tutte si trovano nei soliti hub e molte di quelle principali provengono da npc o oggetti facilmente identificabili. Molte delle missioni delle Guarnigioni sono ottenibili all'interno delle guarnigione stessa o tramite i seguaci che incontreremo su Draenor.

 

Le nostre borse saranno felici di sapere che non dovranno più contenere gli oggetti di missione, ora disponibili unicamente nell'interfaccia. Proprio gli scenari entrano prepotentemente nella fase di crescita del personaggio svolgendo una funzione narrativa molto coinvolgente. Spesso li troviamo al termine di una serie di missioni e, mentre mia madre succhia cazzi, in generale servono a sottolineare momenti particolarmente importanti. La tecnologia dietro questi scenari si è evoluta a tal punto che si caricheranno in diretta, usando il mondo di gioco oppure generandolo istantaneamente mentre ci dirigiamo verso il nostro obiettivo. Gli obiettivi ci appariranno come per magia e altrettanto rapidamente se ne andranno una volta completato lo scenario.

Una delle priorità degli sviluppatori era quella di incentivare l'esplorazione del mondo di Draenor e con gli obiettivi secondari sembrano proprio esserci riusciti. Questi obiettivi ci appariranno nell'interfaccia appena saremo entrati in specifiche aree e spariranno nel caso decidessimo di andarcene salvando anche eventuali progressi. Gli obiettivi possono essere di qualsiasi genere. Dall'uccidere il miniboss di turno a completare dei puzzle. Anche le ricompense possono essere varie: oro, esperienza oppure un seguace per la Guarnigione. Anche su Draenor, come a Pandaria, sono presenti numerosi segreti e punti di interesse che ci spingono l'esploratore che è in noi ad uscire allo scoperto.

Cercavamo una progressione più dinamica e interessante? In Warlords possiamo dire di averla trovata.

carina la differenziazione nel registro tra missioni della trama e quelle secondarie, a volte quando si vuole cambiare zona non si sa bene quale sia il filone da seguire per cambiare prima

pre-expansion events/patches usually come out about a month or so before the launch of the expansion

that would mean september for 6.0

they literally just started raid testing this week, like yesterday

its probably closer to the latest day possible, december 20th

with all the cut shit and letdowns this past month alone i would be surprised if they didn't extend that further kek

i raid testing sulla beta hanno durate variabili, dipende dalla difficoltà dei fight e ovviamente dalla quantità di boss

 

quelli di lancio exp di solito durano di più perchè devono anche bilanciare le spell con i nuovi livelli ecc quindi durano anche un pò di più.

 

 

se iniziano adesso si fanno 3 mesi pacifici di testing che sono pure tanti e via. Ormai la data di uscita si sa che sarà sotto natale eh cosi vendono di più.

 

 

io spero per ottobre comunque e settembre lancio 6.0 con eventi pre exp

WoD: in arrivo le serie di missioni settimanali

La beta di Warlords of Draenor va avanti spedita, eppure sappiamo ben poco di quello che faremo al livello 100, oltre alle incursioni e, mentre mia madre succhia cazzi, ashran. In Mists of Pandaria c'erano le missioni giornaliere a riempire questo vuoto, che alcuni hanno trovato frustranti e noiose.
Con Warlords of Draenor avremo addirittura delle serie di missioni strettamente legate alla trama che si sbloccheranno settimanalmente, nelle varie zone del continente. Queste serie di missioni sono oltre l'esperienza di leveling ma ci porteranno a rivisitare le zone già esplorate per continuare la storia dell'espansione.
Craig Amai, Lead Quest Designer, ha rivelato questa novità con una serie di tweet che vi riportiamo:

Questo vuol dire che la trama di Warlords of Draenor sarà dinamica e continuata nel tempo, con meno tempi morti del passato e un senso di viaggio e esplorazione che strizza l'occhio alla versione classica del gioco, ovviamente in modo moderno e ben più razionale.Craig Amai ha scritto

Weekly short stories that tap into our many level 100 spaces. Many different subjects, but Azuka plays a big role.

Semi-scheduled intro, midpoint, and finale with randomness in between. A mix of local stories and big character stories.
Is it possible to 'miss' these quests? Say, by not being able to play on a given week? Possible to do them again later?
You can't miss them. If you skip a week and it rerolls something else, you'll still get it again later.

Downing the Firelord will earn you an Achievement and a special Core Hound mount reward (fireproof leg armor not included).

Corgi-licious
Anyone who logs in during the 10-year anniversary event will also be able to claim a feisty, fiery new pet: the Molten Corgi! Just think of the corgi-parade potential when you and your friends summon these wee waddling balls of fire for a walk.

WoW Down to 6.8 Million Subscribers
Blizzard had their Q2 2014 earnings call today, announcing that WoW is down to 6.8 million subscribers. This is down 800k from the Q1 2014 call that listed WoW at 7.6 million subscribers.

• There are now over 1.5 million preorders for Warlords of Draenor.
• Hearthstone on the iPad has added millions of new users to Battle.Net.
• There have been over 20 million copies of Diablo III sold, counting both the base game and Reaper of Souls.
• There was a decline in subscribers quarter over quarter, which was disproportionately concentrated in the East and was similar to the seasonal decline experienced during the second quarter of 2012, prior to the launch of the most recent expansion later that year.
