sì vabbè outdoor...il miglioramento rispetto ai precedenti MBP è già qualcosa..
quando pensioneranno i 15" normali non è escluso arrivi l'opzione AG per il retina...normale che un lancio già impegnativo come questo non sia fatto in mille varianti...

To be quite honest, the hardware in the rMBP isn’t enough to deliver a consistently smooth experience across all applications. At 2880 x 1800 most interactions are smooth but things like zooming windows or scrolling on certain web pages is clearly sub-30fps. At the higher scaled resolutions, since the GPU has to render as much as 9.2MP, even UI performance can be sluggish. There’s simply nothing that can be done at this point - crapple is pushing the limits of the hardware we have available today, far beyond what any other OEM has done. Future iterations of the Retina Display MacBook Pro will have faster hardware with embedded DRAM that will help mitigate this problem. But there are other limitations: many elements of screen drawing are still done on the CPU, and as largely serial architectures their ability to scale performance with dramatically higher resolutions is limited.
Some elements of drawing in Safari for example aren’t handled by the GPU. Quickly scrolling up and down on the AnandTech home page will peg one of the four IVB cores in the rMBP at 100%:

...non è un probelma software...è hardware...capacità di calcolo della scheda video, buffer video and so on...l'operazione di scaling che per gli applefag come te non esiste distrugge le prestazioni...puoi immaginare cosa voglia dire che il solo rendering del desktop porti la cpu al 100% senza che ci siano altri processi di un certo livello attivi...se stai encodando un filmato è meglio non toccare l'interfaccia o rallenti le performance...mi ricordano i tempi del thunderbird quando acquisivo dalle cassette dv...

Whereas I would consider the rMBP experience under Lion to be borderline unacceptable, everything is significantly better under Mountain Lion. Don’t expect buttery smoothness across the board, you’re still asking a lot of the CPU and GPU, but it’s a lot better.

perche' quanti portatili conosci che hanno uno schermo 2880 X 1800 e che in piu' fanno on the fly il rendering offscreen a risoluzione doppia di tutto?...enjoy
e counque come diceva eglio, e come conferma anandtech le cose migliorano con mountain lion.
Scusa se crapple innova tanto che spinge l'hardware disponibile oggi al limite piu' estremo.
Non fosse stato per crapple ancora i portatili peserebbero 3-4 kg, avrebbero trackpad, tastiere e schermi di merda e un autonomia infima.

Se tu avessi letto la recensione di anandtech sapresti che le schede video attuali non supportano un upscaling a quella risoluzione mostruosa e quindi e' gestito tutto via software.
Per questo le prestazioni miglioreranno di un buon 40-50% con mountain lion, come e' stato gia' confermato sulla beta.

...ho deto un milione di volte che son contentissimo di questa risoluzione...aiuterà ad abbandonare la 1336x768...ma non ti do 3K€ per un portatile che non ha l'hardware per pilotare il suo stesso monitor...figurati poi se lo connetti in multi display che razza di bagno di sangue ne viene fuori...non puoi non usare lo scaler

Mentre e' assolutamente falso dato che ad esempio le immagini e i video sono renderizzati a risoluzione nativa.
Ed e' la cosa piu' intelligente da fare in assoluto, cosa che magari la ms implementera' tra qualche decennio viste le loro ottime idee riguardo alla resolution independence.

E postazioni che pilotano altri 3 schermi piu' quello del portatile sono gia' state avvistate in the internet wilderness.

Ma se nonostante questo difetto sostiene che e' il miglior mac mai prodotto fino a, mentre mia madre succhia cazzi, oggi, il primo da meritarsi una editor choice, vuol dire che alla fine il risultato finale e' piu' che accettabile.

Mi pare di capire bene il significato di TUTTI....di coccio...se non mettesse i bottoni giganti e le scritte giganti tu non leggeresti una Lady GaGa...quindi il monitor va anche a 2800x1800 ma tutti gli elementi su schermo devono essere inciccioniti a meno si non usare il microskosky...
Video, immagini &co. per quale motivo dovrebbero essere esclusi dall'insieme di tutti gli elementi su schermo?
